Music is a gift from God, and I am pleased to serve at Redeemer through the gift of music since 2005. Originally from the Albert Lea, MN area, born into a musical family, I began piano when I was five and continue to enjoy learning and growing as a musician. In 2005 I graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with degrees in Music Education k-12, vocal and instrumental and Church music, with minors in Confessional Lutheranism and Psychology. I received the Master of Church Music — organ performance degree from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2011. My husband, Bryce Beckman, and I were married in 2006 and are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Adelaide Leona born on Palm Sunday 2012, and Alaina Leilah born on Ash Wednesday 2015.

It is my privilege to lead God’s people in song as they praise, proclaim, and glorify God, for all that He has done and continues to do. Martin Luther recognized the power of music saying… “Next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise. The gift of language combined with the gift of song was given to man that he should proclaim the Word of God through Music.” Music ministry at Redeemer includes many opportunities for a variety of ages to sing, ring chimes, or play instruments. If you have the gift of music, please come join us in praising the Lord!
