Redeemer’s Caring Connections
Monday, January 12, 3-4:30 p.m.
South Fellowship Hall and on Zoom

With Pam Grubbs, APRN, CNS, MS

Please join us on Monday, January 12, from 3-4:30 p.m., in the South Fellowship Hall and on Zoom, to hear from Pam Grubbs, Clinical Nurse Specialist, collaborating with patients and families with Diabetes. Managing Diabetes effectively requires an initiative-taking and informed approach to daily self-care. Individuals living with Diabetes can best care for themselves by adopting a comprehensive routine that includes healthy eating, regular physical activity, consistent blood sugar monitoring, and proper medication use. Emotional well-being, stress management, and regular checkups with healthcare providers also play a vital role in preventing complications and maintaining overall health. By understanding Diabetes and working closely with a Diabetes care team, individuals can make empowered choices that support long-term wellness and a higher quality of life.

Pam has worked extensively with patients and their families. Her objectives for this informative and compelling presentation are as follows:
#1. To discuss differences between type one and type two Diabetes.
#2. To describe management of common life choices of the Diabetic patient.
#3. To review components of living well with chronic disease.

The Zoom link for this class will be provided in the email blast the Thursday before the 1/12/26 presentation. There will be adequate time for discussion and questions, so please come join us, to learn about living well with Diabetes.
