  4. To promote harmony and Christian fellowship among all women of Redeemer in all aspects of decisions and activities.
  5. To promote cooperation and Christian-oriented team-work with the main objective to work together for the church.

  7. To bring new ideas to the RLCW/LWML organization to promote interest and attendance while enjoying traditional events and activities.

What Is The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League?

  1. It is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS).  It is women in mission who are finding avenues to use their God-given talents as they meet the challenge to share the Gospel message and who are daily dedicating their lives to making a difference in this world.
  2. A major emphasis is the support of mission and ministry throughout the world by means of MITE BOX offerings.  These MITE BOX offerings have funded tens of millions of dollars in mission grants since the LWML’s inception in 1942.
  3. THE MITE BOX!  Based on the Biblical account of the widow’s Mite (Luke 21:1-4), the MITE BOX is intended for regular contributions of “MITES” – offerings above and beyond the support given to the congregation and the Synod.  MITE BOX contributions amount to millions of dollars that fund district and national mission grants and implement the LWML program.
  4. Missions is the Mission of the Church!

R.L.C.W. BAKELESS BAKE SALE

There is a project we would like to share

With the Women of Redeemer who really care.

We ask your help this Harvest Season

By doing or giving something for a good reason.

So with this short letter we send today,

We start a “Bakeless Bake Sale” on its way.

Now in these busy days who would want to bake

Some pies, or cookies, or even a cake???

You’d be surprised if you counted the cost

of materials, heat, and the time you lost.

Yes, baking for sales means extra work

Yet nobody ever really wishes to shirk.

So here is a plan that we think is grand,

And we feel quite sure that you’ll understand.

In an extra envelope, please mail the price

Of a pie, or a cake, or something else nice.

Without fuss or bother you’ve done your part,

We are sure you will give with a willing heart.

Now this is the end of our little tale;

Please wish success to our “Bakeless Bake Sale”.

Contributions can be made during the entire month of October.  If you use a plain envelope, please write “R.L.C.W. Bakeless Bake Sale”, on the outside of the envelope, put it in the offering plate at a worship service or mail it to the church office.  Proceeds will be used for church projects.

A very warm thank-you from the Executive Board of RLCW!
